Audit groups

Auditing in a group

By creating an audit group you can collect and manage audit data from a group of auditors. This is ideal for auditing across multiple roles and locations.

As a group administrator you are able to invite others within your health service organisation to join your audit group. You will have access to, and ability to amend, their audit data. Before choosing the group administrator option, confirm that you have the authority within your health service organisation for this role.

Considerations for group auditing

When establishing an audit group, your communication plan for the group members should include:

  • Purpose and aim of the group
  • Audit schedules
  • Reporting requirements, and
  • Intention of data usage.

If you are inviting members into the group who are in job sharing roles, it is preferable to use a position email. For example, if James and Sharon share a transfusion nurse position, a joint email such as transfusionnurse@stelsewhere.com.au allows the site to keep all their audit data together and be more efficient when generating site specific reports.
